Craig McRae
Craig McRae, a three-time Brisbane premiership player, is now the Head Of Development at Collingwood since arriving at the end of 2010 after spending four years at Richmond and one with the Lions.
The small forward made a name for himself with his determination for the contest and his fierce tackling. At his peak, McRae was one of the game’s most reliable and creative players around goal.
He represented Australia against Ireland in the International Rules in 1999, and played in two premierships against the Magpies in 2002 and 2003.
McRae oversaw the development of Collingwood’s younger players at VFL level in 2011. His role was bolstered in 2012 when he was joined by Anthony Rocca, Dale Tapping and Mitch Hahn in the development coaching office, while Steve Grace joined the fold when Hahn left for Brisbane at the end of 2013.
McRae’s dedication and proven ability to develop young footballers was recognised by the AFL Coaches Association when he received their inaugural Development Coach of the Year Award. The gong recognises the outstanding commitment, service and innovation in developing and preparing young players for AFL football.
Saverio Rocca
Sav Rocca, a 257 game player for Collingwood and North Melbourne, is recognized as one of the best kicks who has played the game. As a forward in the AFL he kicked 748 goals (a 9 time Club leading goal kicker) and won a club best and fairest before making the successful switch to the NFL in America as a Punter.
Sav spent six years at the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Redskins before returning to Australia and taking up a position as forward line coach at the Carlton Football club.
Sav brings a wealth of knowledge around marking, set shot goal kicking, routines and some great stories from abroad.

James Toohey
James Toohey, taken with pick 15 in the 2014 rookie draft, played 13 VFL games for the Cats before announcing his retirement. James has an amazing story to tell with many lessons learnt along the way as he transitioned from junior footy, to TAC Cup to AFL.
During that period he was the dux of his school, St Kevin’s College, in Year 12, captain of APS teams in Tennis & Athletics, all while developing his footy. James was a late starter to football and worked very hard on achieving his goal of making an AFL list only to have injury cut it short.
